1. It was named natrolite by Martin Heinrich Klaproth in 1803. 2. Nepheline generally shows partial alteration into natrolite and cancrinite. 3. Frequently associated minerals include : natrolite , neptunite, joaquinite, serpentine and albite. 4. It occurs with natrolite in alkali pegmatites. 5. In the San Benito occurrence, it is found in natrolite dike cutting a serpentinite body. 6. It is associated with other minerals typical of undersaturated environments, namely leucite, cancrinite and natrolite . 7. "' Natrolite "'is a tectosilicate mineral species belonging to the zeolite group. 8. For example, natrolite is often described as slender prismatic and millerite is often described as filiform or capillary. 9. In nature it is frequently altered to zeolites ( especially natrolite ), sodalite, kaolin, or compact muscovite. 10. The crystals are frequently epitaxial overgrowths of "'natrolite "', mesolite, and gonnardite in various orders.
